Renovation

So I am giving my blog a new look as well as new pages and content. I have spent far too much time on this blog ranting about things…and I feel it is about time that I do something else with my time! So I will have a knitting section with current projects/finished projects and maybe some patterns I create (I am so hoping anyway). I will have a gardening section that will be about my various endeavors in gardening organically here at home (we’ll see how that goes!) Lastly, I will have a “parenting” section. Really this will be mostly book lists and a general idea about each book that are all helpful (or not as the case may be). I am pretty excited about it in general. Let’s see if I can actually be better about blogging – and making it more interesting!

This is a reflection I have had as a mom – you have to keep or do SOMETHING else other than just being mom. Once you start being JUST mom.. you loose some of yourself and have absolutely nothing to talk about other than your kids. It’s an easy thing to do too. I admit that sometimes it is tempting to hide behind my son than let anyone get to know me… but I really try not to do that. So – here is my plan! Woot! (Oh, and there might be a music page coming too… a better one than the one I had before)
