Life as of late…

has been busy as hell.  In fact maybe hell has more free time..I donno lol.  School has ramped up way too much really…and the most frustrating part is that every professor thinks their class is the most important (figures right?) so they pile on things for all of us to do.  I am finding often times I go to school early only to come home and spend my evening doing homework until bedtime, only to repeat the cycle.  Last weekend I didn’t have a weekend either.  It was for a good cause though!  I help my friend Kazuko with her shop at a convention in college station.  She makes and sells lots of things of Japanese origin.  I myself ended up buying a new kimono, obi, tabi socks, and some geta (shoes) from her.  They are all so pretty.  Anyways then on Sunday after helping her pack everything up, I went to Houston to a music rehearsal for a friend’s wedding….then got home only to work on more homework.  Monday was much of the same…only I was up till 1:30am and was back up at 5:30am Tuesday morning to go to class (which I had a project due in and a test all in the same class period).  Needless to say I was stressed from not sleeping much and always being on the go…and classes have been so stressful and demanding not just during class, but also in my free time.  I just feel like I don’t want to go to class anymore.  I still do go since it’s required though.  Anyways when I got home I found that my dog sophie chewed one of my new japanese shoes!!!!! ARG!  I was so freaking pissed at her.  I had worn them only once.  I can still wear them..but one of them has puncture holes all over it which is so frustrating since they were expensive for me.

Yesterday was at least a little better.  Only choir was a bad class for me…but that seems to be just how this semester will finish.  I am currently waiting for choir to start (at 2pm) and I am not really excited.  I love the music we are doing and I love to sing in general..but sometimes the bad out weights the good.  Oh well.  At least it’s almost the weekend!  I have a rehearsal dinner to attend tomorrow afternoon, and the wedding on Saturday.  I am very happy for my friend Kristin, even though she will be moving to Dallas.
