spring break update

This past week has been my break…which was definitely needed.  Last weekend Meghan came into town and I took her a few places…nothing too exciting (cause, let’s face it…I live in College Station lol).  I then decided to go back home with her for a few days…so Sunday I left for Austin.  Don’t get me wrong, I missed Chris…but it was lovely to spend alone time with my best friend.  Anyways, Sunday evening we made it into town and went to a comics shop to pick up a card game called Fluxx.  The one I bought is Monty Python themed.  Now you can own your own killer rabbit and shrubbery!  All in one deck!  Needless to say we played it while doing late night laundry until about 1 or 2 in the morning.  Sadly Monday Meg had to work, so I spent the day bumming around her apartment and tidying up a bit for her since I had nothing else to do.  Oh and fixing her computer.  You know…although I no longer work at HDC, I do kinda miss fixing computer problems.  I guess it makes me feel smart heh.  Anyway when Meg got home we went out and got some tea and went to a few stores and the mall.  We also had lots of good food.  I have to say it’s been a very long time since we’ve had time for good conversation.  Although we are obviously different people, we still have similar views on  a lot of topics.  Even the thoughts that there are so many things we’ve yet to experience in life. Pretty much my visit with her was filled with food, shopping, tasty drinks, late night talks, and games.  It was a most enjoyable time together.  Tuesday evening Chris took me home.

Since getting home from Meg’s, I’ve been just bumming around home.  Sleeping lots (yes, be jealous!), doing not a whole lot…although I should be!  I saw Lauren and Grant yesterday too which has also been a while.  I really think Summer I need to try and see people more.  I’m excited though also for summer since Chris and I will be going to California!  Yay for getting out of Texas for a time.  Besides it’s been a while since I’ve been to CA.  Sadly tomorrow my spring break will come to a close…and it will be back to my crazy school schedule.  I also have a C.A.R.E.  cat (Cats Against Reading Everything) bugging…so this ends my update.

Oh and Chris took pics of me the other day which look good.  Yay
