The Plague!

Ok not really THE plague…but I am sick currently. Just about everyone is coming down with stuff this semester. I should probably be home resting but all my teachers have very strict policies regarding missing class. Plus I had a test today in music history. I have no idea how well I did. I am sure that if I had been well this past weekend I would have aced it…but my study time pretty much didn’t happen since I felt so fuzzy brained. The little studying I was able to do is also fuzzy lol. Oh well this is just our first test. I can redeem my grade on the next one. I rarely get sick like this during the semester. Although I usually spend my breaks ill.

Anyway, besides that I had a choir concert this past Saturday evening. I thought it went well, but Chris said it wasn’t one of his favorites. Oh well. Can’t please people 100% of the time. On the good side, my parents came and gave me flowers and a little cash to ease my gasoline bill for the car. All of which was very thoughtful and unexpected.

Besides that my weekend wasn’t very full of much but rest and outright sleep. I am a bit disheartened by all the school I have yet to work on. Tests and tests, oh and projects to come! Blah! I am hoping that for spring break I can go visit meg in Austin for a couple days…then I really need to focus on my voice lesson music. I really need to memorize it all so that when we get back we can polish it for juries. Maybe even get to do my sophomoe barrier exam! ‘Bout damn time.

Hope you feel better soon. If you don’t feel better I can always sub in for you in front of the juries…remember my awesome rock band performance? Now if you could convince your parents to give me a little gas money… Oh… and tell Chris to post something on his blog… I’m thinking he forgot his login. ;)

LOL Yea… no offense…but I think I will have to pass on your oh so kind offer to sing at my jury. And Chris is few and far between in his posts, but I doubt my prompting is likely to change that trend. Maybe I can poke him enough during spring break that he actually does though…who knows!
