Litterbug
Yesterday, while driving to work I see the people in front of me just throw trash out of their truck. I was appalled! Two cans of something (presumably beer) and hand fulls of candy wrappers. No wonder our streets and highways are so nasty with people like that. I understand that yes, we all have trash, but I keep it in my car and wait to dispose of it properly. I also recycle as much as I can. It’s that type of wastefulness and carelessness that disgusts me. Landfills are by no means beautiful, but until we can find a way to be waste free (which isn’t too likely any time soon) we should at least ensure things go in their designated places and not ruin the non-landfill areas with trash too.
Humans are for certain out to destroy themselves…
I know how you feel. I came across a similar situation this morning. As I was backing out of my driveway, I noticed a Michelob Ultra beer can lying at the corner my lawn. Evidently, a golfer thought it’d be a good idea to make a trash can out of my front yard. This isn’t the fist time it’s happened, oh no. This happens about once a week. Golfers are known for littering excessively, here. Every course I’ve worked at has the same problem. I hate golfers. I know it’s not fair to blame littering on all golfers, but its a crappy sport anyway. So, yeah. Fuck golf.
