I definitely spoke too soon.  It looks like school is not a reality.  Chris and I tried for a loan for school, but it was a no go.  I can’t afford school pretty much, I can’t get grants, I can’t get loans…and I have very seldom gotten scholarships (for many reasons actually).  So I am effectively beaten down.  My hope can’t take much more battering…so I quit.  I will work my dead end job and then die a dead end person. yay.
