Chris and I are thinking about/ trying to get a puppy. I know he really wants one and now that we have a house with a backyard, I don’t see why not. I went out to 5 stores today in search of large breed puppies with no luck! I was so frustrated cause I wanted to surprise him with one. Damn pet stores don’t carry puppies…why???!!!

so anyway I have been looking online at dogs listed in shelters in our area and although I want him to have a puppy…it’s so hard to look through the cats. I have found two white manx cats listed…and although they don’t have blue eyes, they just remind me of my darling kitty Iseult. I miss her soo much. I know it’s been nearly two years since she passed away…but I can’t help it. She was my best friend and we were just so close. I know I am look at these manx just wishing they were her though…and I know they aren’t. It’s so pathetic…but I still miss her. I want her back :-(

Anyways on a different subject. Chris and I went to Colorado last week. He had a training out there for some computer programming stuff for work and since I have family out there, I decided I would tag along. It was really great too. I got to see my Aunt Kathy again. She was just the sweetest. I haven’t really gotten to know her in my childhood since we moved from Colorado…so I guess I am trying to make a fresh start. I sometimes feel like I am missing family. It’s not that my family isn’t great, don’t get me wrong…but sometimes it just felt like I should have more family wise. I also got to meet my cousin Josh. He was pretty cool, although we didn’t get much of a chance to chat since he was gone most of the week I was there. maybe next time…
I also met my Uncle Greg and got to know him a bit too. I met him once before, but only for like 10 min or something like that…plus I was pretty young.

My Aunt really made us (chris and I) feel at home and really enjoyed that. Plus she had a great sense of humor. While I was there I also went to the Museum of Natural Science which was cool, and the zoo. I have never seen so many kids though! lol

Well I guess back to my quest for puppies!
