I need more sleep.

Continuation

Chris and I went to bed really early after the wedding…I would say in our room by 7:30 or so and then we took a nice bath in the tub built for two (after I showered to get all that hairspray out of my hair)…and all that romantic stuff. I admit though…I was sooo tired. I felt like that day was at least two rolled into one. It was a very long day for us in general, plus I guess all the excitement was just a bit much. I had really weird dreams that night too! Right before I woke up the next morning, I was dreaming that I had my own house and that I had very carefully gotten it to be just the way I liked it…and this woman (maybe a friend or something, but i don’t think she was really) starts doing my dishes. I didn’t mind it too much till she started putting them away and rearranging how my kitchen was…and I attacked her! Over something so small, and I started to choke her. Needless to say that was a weird dream to have on my first night being a married woman. lol I usually do have odd dreams though. Anyways! The next morning after the wedding, Chris and I awoke to Tom knocking at our door to let us know breakfast was being served. We got up and sorta got dressed and went downstairs. We get down there and find out that his grandpa and aunt left at like 7am instead of waiting for breakfast! It was kind of a bummer as we had plenty of food for everyone. Lori and Tucker were there though, and Melody and Tom, which was nice. The breakfast itself was awesome. First there was this fruit parfe, and then homemade scones, then french toast, then this cinnamon bread thing, Oh and something called ranger eggs (which I absolutely loved!!!!)…I think there may have been more but I just can’t remember it all. We ate and ate until we were about to burst! It was all so good, and I felt bad that there was still half of it left over. I really wanted to take it home with me.

After breakfast Chris and I went back to our room to get showered and properly dressed. When we got out, we found out Lori and Tucker left without saying goodbye too. I admit I was also sad at this. Shortly there after we all packed our things and loaded up our car. I had to somewhat hurry, as I had promised Melody’s mom I would have her back home as early as possible. We drove all the way from Sugarland up to Huntsville and dropped her off. I was sad to loose her company since I rarely get to see her. It used to be I’d see her all the time when we were younger…but now that she’s an adult, she pretty much just stays at home with her mom. …anyways…
After we dropped her off, we drove back down to Houston since we were supposed to meet up with my friend Melissa and go to a concert that evening. We picked her up from the woodlands mall (since she didn’t feel safe driving downtown Houston) and went out to the hobbit cafe! I always love their food there. Every time Tom comes down, he always wants to go there…for good reason. After dinner we went over to the meridian and waited in line to go in for the concert (to see shinedown). It was pretty chilly at this point, so I think we all were glad to get into some warmth. The thing that pissed me off though was that we got there early and waited for I think like two hours before any bands started to play. I don’t do well standing as those who know me, know why….and we stood for four hours before. I enjoyed the concert once it started, but was glad when we went home. I was tired, and so was everyone. We drove back and dropped Melissa at her car, and then went to home ourselves…and slept.
