Back at work again…
I am back from San Marcos as of today and I had a fantastic time seeing Meg and Lori. It seems so rare I get to see them. Chris left for CA this past Sunday and I didn’t feel like spending my time in town all alone, so I left and went down to Houston to see my mom for a couple days and did all my usually Music Monday stuff. I had an absolute fantastic voice lesson and I can now record them too cause I just bought a new digital recorder for that purpose! I got to Lori’s about 12:45 am and only got a little lost which could have been much worse that late at night.
Lori and I stayed up for a while chatting and I got to finally meet her dog Ruby. She’s soo cute! She almost makes me want a dog…almost..lol I got up the next morning surprisingly early! I am not used to daylight in the room I am sleeping in. It was kinda nice though cause I got to hang out with her more, and then we got to go bother Meg. They took me to a store called Paper Bear (if i remember correctly) and it was really cool! It has a bunch of really interesting things, like lots of fun and unusual toys, posters, cards, clothing, jewelry, soaps and bath stuff, decor stuff…I mean just soo much! Just about everything you could ever want for wrapping stuff too. I think I had been in there once before but I didn’t remember my visit too much for the last time. After that we went out to a coffee type place that had artwork, clothing, jewelry, and of course food and coffee. It was really cool and the guy behind the counter was pretty funny/crazy. I bought two prints that I thought Chris and I would like (I love them of course, but I think he would too.) Then we spent the night messing around with my Ipod and getting music and we watched Mean Girls (which I found I really liked…unusual for me), and then Canned Hamlet! Sound and Fury is fantastic! If you have ever seen them you know what I am talking about.
Well my last thing I realized is that I still needing to send out invites to the wedding and the RSVP date is the 20th of this month. I need to get them out soon…shame on me. I feel like there are things I am forgetting to do…I just don’t know yet.
I am just looking forward to Friday for when chris gets back! I admit that without any good friends here…I get very lonely. So yay for when he gets back so I can bother him again!
